Red Hot Chili Peppers releases a new track to radio stations this morning titled “Dark Necessities.”

It’s the first single from their forthcoming album, The Getaway, set for release on June 17. It is the first in 25 years not to produced by long-time collaborator, Rick Rubin.
Danger Mouse (Gnarls Barkley) is handling production duties and producer Nigel Godrich (Radiohead) is handling the mix. See tracklist below.
